As you know, AFSCME Advantage offers legal services – generally one free meeting with a lawyer and/or reduced fees.
But, in these times, some of our members can’t afford to pay a lawyer. When I was at the Employment Law Seminar, Central Minnesota Legal Services had a booth advertising their services. I talked to one of their lawyers and they handle all sorts of types of legal problems including some employment matters.
