It may be helpful to initiate confidential discussions with your co-workers as you consider forming a union and to make things better on the job. By having these private discussions, you can figure out whether or not there are other workers who might be interested in supporting a union and helping form one.

Let’s Meet

An AFSCME, Council 65 representative is willing to meet with you and/or your co-workers. When we meet, you can have your questions answered and AFSCME can learn more about the issues in your workplace that need to be addressed. From there we will help develop a basic plan to organize your workplace.

What We Need to Know about You

It's important us to know what the workplace looks like and who works where and how many employees might be eligible to join. This helps us learn about your workplace issues and identify areas where we can focus our efforts.
